About 3 years ago, Mr. Precious Austin Phiri, passionate about merging analytical consistency with creative strategies to advance social equity, joined ArtGlo as a Finance Associate.
Before joining ArtGlo, Phiri served as a Field Data Collector with the Reserve Bank of Malawi (2013–2017), in the Currency Repatriation Project. ArtGlo’s bold use of art to address social inequities resonates with his commitment to innovative, community-driven change. He currently leads the Finance and Operations Department, overseeing budgeting and fiscal reporting.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking trails, landscape photography, audio, and music production to balance logic with creativity. One other interesting fact about Phiri is that he is a top fan of Manchester United but can’t name a single player: “I once cheered wildly for a goal, only to realize it was a replay from 2008. My loyalty is…vibes-based.”
